Executive Insights Merges Decision Makers with SharePoint Best Practices and Case Studies (Review)

October 8th marked the 1st Executive Insights event in what could become the catalyst for content delivery geared toward the Executive-level for organizations looking to invest in SharePoint.

What is Executive Insights?

A invitation-only breakfast roundtable for key decision makers and executives that was held at the Tysons Corner Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

The event came to fruition because of the challenge of securing long term buy-in at the Executive level when deploying or integrating technologies into the SharePoint platform.

There are many factors that lead to this result centering mostly around the fact that many Execs generally have limited education and insight on the benefits vs. the time and materials needed to deliver success for a SharePoint implementation when compared to other roles and responsibilities within a SharePoint delivery. The purpose of this event was to bring those issues to the forefront via straightforward discussion of SharePoint deployments via case studies from sectors varying from the military to healthcare implementations.

Sessions:

Arpan Shah: Elevating Business Value with Microsoft Work Management Solution

Marie-Michelle Strah, PhD: Case Study: Business Process Re-Engineering and Improved Healthcare Outcomes

Joe Snyder, Case Study: Delivering QA Process Improvement and Savings

Matt Fritts, MPH - Case Study: Healing a Case of Ineffective Process, Document and Project Management

Bill English: Top 10 Best Practices to Ensure SharePoint Success (Screencast Recording)

Dux Raymond Sy, PMP: Panel Discussion featuring all speakers
